Shanelle Tomlin is currently the Assistant Human Resources Director for the Town of Matthews.  She possesses over 16 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with over 11 years in public sector/service. 

Ms. Tomlin possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Information Science and Policy with a double minor in Business and Psychology from the University at Albany (SUNY). She holds a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management and a second Master's Degree in Public Administration both from Troy University.

She is a SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and HRCI Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).  Shanelle is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Charlotte Area Society for Human Resources Management (CASHRM).
