    Emma is a registered nurse, healthcare executive, and nationally recognized eldercare expert with over 35 years of clinical nursing experience.  As the Founder and CEO of Gentle Shepherd Care, Charlotte's only nurse-run 'Continuous Care' eldercare company, Emma has served more than 3,000 families navigating the complexities of aging, neurological decline and chronic illness.

    Known as 'the PANINI Woman', Emma is a fierce advocate for the sandwich generation - the millions of working professionals simultaneously managing careers and caring for aging parents.  Her proprietary Seven Pathways to Wellness framework and Three Pillar corporate eldercare model have helped organizations reduce caregiver-related turnover, absenteeism, and presenteeism while building cultures that retain top talent. 

    Emma's clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of complex neurological conditions including Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's, stroke recovery, and dementia care.  Her career includes leadership roles at major healthcare systems including HealthQuest, the University of Texas and Intermountain Healthcare.
